Prayer for Healing

Paul prayed for healing

Three times

But Your answer was Your presence

And with that he was content

But Paul also saw You, Jesus, heal people

On many occasions 

Now Lord, I pray for me

I don't know how my healing 

Would glorify You

But I ask Lord--

That You be glorified

While I am healed

--the baldness on my head

--the lack of strength in my left arm

--the cough that interferes with life

I have been drawn to this position before

To pray for personal healing

But here I am once more, Lord

Only Your power can accomplish this

So I leave it with You

But I do ask: Please, Lord, heal me
