Coyotes crossing the road
A pair of wild dogs
Traveling through the woods
Then another pair
Going in the same direction
Wild dogs on the move in the country
Such a contrast to the city
Where a single dog without a leash and owner
Stands out as unusual
A well ordered city
Wrapped round and round
With rules to protect us
And yet in the woods
Freedom still steps quietly
