Provides a challenge for refugees
It often comes down to work versus language
Since the jobs to be found with poor english
Aren't jobs that increase language fluency
How can we tackle this inequality?
The first generation here . . . isn't to be lost
Thriving is possible
Thriving is doable
Thriving may simply need a little help
Something to study
On an ongoing basis
That uses the language
But is focused on ideas
Through the difficult language
--Then language growth is unmeasured
