Butter Chicken

Andrew was busy elsewhere, so lunchtime  was all mine. The fierceness of winter had returned with large snowflakes swirling down and I decided to walk downtown for lunch by myself. The heat of India at the end of a trek through Canadian winter.

To move to me

On its was through London

Miles of pathways cocooned inside 

Wildness

Deer

Seven deer

Through the trees

Milling about nervously

Once I noticed them

Wanting to graze

But wanting me to leave

Finally they began to wander away

--Amazing pockets of wonder

In the city

London

A little piece of England

Transplanted to Canada

To put down roots and grow
